On Thursday, Nepal has banned the brutal online game "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) " over concerns about its impact on children, officials said.
Nepal's telecommunication authority issued a circular to all internet service providers to block PUBG on instruction from the Kathmandu district court.
The PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds game commonly known as PUBG, players parachute onto an island and scavenge for weapons and equipment to kill others and survive.
The Senior Superintendent of Police Dhiraj Pratap Singh, chief of the Metropolitan Crime Division said, "We received a number of complaints from parents, schools and school associations regarding the effect of the game on children. We also held discussions with psychiatrists before requesting the Kathmandu District Court for permission to ban the game. There have been many shocking incidents due to the game in other countries. We have decided to ban the game before anything unfortunate occurs in Nepal".
Also PUBG was banned in Gujarat, India. Indian police were arrested some people for playing this game.
