Can MAX jets rebuild trust?

A fix may allow the MAX to fly again in the coming months, but public trust in Boeing and the jets could take still longer to restore. Two fatal crashes and what some have described as a "lack of transparency" in the aftermath have undermined consumer confidence in the plane maker. Meanwhile, the return of Boeing's 737 MAX jets to the skies won't likely occur until mid to late August.
Most airline passengers typically don't take much notice of the kind of jet they are flying on. But after two fatal crashes of the Boeing 737 MAX, that changed. In addition to fixing the MAX and getting regulators to clear the jet to fly again, Boeing and its airline customers face the difficult task of convincing the flying public the plane is safe.
Let us see the accidents of the Max in current days as follows;
In October 29, 2018 a flight from Jakarta, Indonesia to Pangkal Pinang, Indonesia crashed into the sea within 13 minutes after takeoff, with total of 189 people on board.181 passengers (178 adults and three children), as well as six cabin crew and two pilots. The crash killed everybody. This air accident involving all variants of the Boeing 737 and also the first accident involving the Boeing 737 MAX.
In March 10, 2019-Ethiopian Airlines-a flight from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to Nairobi, Kenya, crashed 6 minutes within takeoff, killed all 157 people aboard. 149 passengers and 8 crew members. The plane was only 4 months old at the time of the accident. By these accidents, almost all the aviation authorities around the world grounded the 737 MAX, and many airlines followed suit. The FAA became the last authority to ground the aircraft on March 13, 2019, reversing its previous stance that the MAX was safe to fly.
