Abu Dhabi adds Hindi as its third official court language

The Adu Dhabi Judicial Department(ADJD) acknowledged Hindi as its third official language in courts after Arabic and English. It is a part of effort to improve access to justice.
Undersecretary of ADJD- Yousef Saeed Al Abri said, "The adoption of multilingual interactive forms for claim sheets, grievances and requests, aims to promote judicial services in line with the Plan Tomorrow 2021 and increase the transparency of litigation procedures through the provision of bilingual forms to know the litigation procedures, their rights and duties without a language barrier".
Hindi language forms can now be downloded from ADJD website and additional details over the litigation procedures are also available in the website. Now, Indian emigrants in UAE can file the complaints in their mother-tongue.
External Affairs Minister of India- Sushma Swaraj by praising the decision of the UAE court twitted, "We thank Adu Dhabi for declaring Hindi as one of the official languages in their judicial system.
This will make the justice delivery system simpler and more accessible to our people".
