Recently, Facebook chief executive officer Mark Zuckerberg announced the planning of integrating the WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger services. One of the most popular messaging platforms is whatsapp. Always whatsapp developers are working on a number of new features. 

In addition to that, now they planned to involve some new features in whatsapp. Some of the new features expected are fingerprint lock, private replies, audio picker, sticker integration,  3D touch action etc.

Fingerprint lock:

In today's world, privacy and security is most concerned for everyone. So whatsapp is working for to add fingerprint identification. This ‘fingerprint lock’ is used to allow users to simply lock the entire app through their device’s fingerprint sensor.

Private Replies:

By this new feature, users will be able to send private messages in group chat without saving their contact details. It is already available for Android users and will be soonly available to iOS users.

Audio Picker:

A new update is revamped audio picker for WhatsApp. This will allow users to play the audio file before sending it.

Sticker Integration:

By this update, WhatsApp will be able to read and then send stickers that are already available in the keyboard apps. For that WhatsApp has teamed with Google to bring the integration to Gboard. WhatsApp would automatically detect the sticker on the Gboard app and then convert it into a native WhatsApp sticker instead of an image.

3D Touch Action:

By this feature, users will able to read/view the status secretly without intimating it. According to some of the reports, the 3D touch action feature is already available on iPhones and will be soonly available to other users aslo.
