Mobile App Digicop was launched by Actor Vijay Sethupathi

Today, the police Mobile App 'DigiCop' was launched by Actor Vijay Sethupathi at Commissioner’s office in Vepery, chennai.

City Commissioner A K Vishwanathan said that using 'Digicop' App, people can be able to track the status of stolen, missing cell phones and two-wheelers. 

Using DigiCop App, people can also verify IMEI, report the stolen cell phones, missing cell phones and two-wheelers. And also people can know the nearest police station, traffic alerts etc.

'Digicop' can store the details of 18,000 stolen mobile phones.

Using this app, if someone is buying a cell phone from a second hand they can able to verify that the phone is stolen or not.

Actor Vijay Sethupathi was a chief guest. He said that this App is very useful for people. It makes people to feel that the police is always with them.
