Micromax iOne launched in India at Rs 4,999

On friday, smartphone maker Micromax has launched its a new smartphone Micromax iOne. It is available in two colour variants- Black and Blue. The device is priced at Rs 4,999. It will be available for purchase starting from 17 May.

Micromax head strategy, Sunil Joon said in a statement, "We understand that consumers today demand a complete package - a smartphone that has a good camera, screen that is large enough for content viewing, battery that lasts a day and great aesthetics - all at an affordable price point. Keeping those requirements in mind, our newest #iOne Notch Display hosts a 19:9 Notch screen that ensures more content is displayed without the edges being cut. Additionally, our newest offering also packs a powerful 2 GB RAM and Octacore processor for maximising the experience of our users".

The Micromax iOne features a 5.45-inch HD+ notch display and runs on Android 9.0 Pie. It is powered by UniSOC's SC9863 octa-core chipset with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128 GB with the help of a microSD card.

It has a 5 MP rear camera and a 5 MP sensor for selfie. The phone's camera also comes with up to nine shooting modes, including time-Lapse and slow-Motion with a 2,200 mAh battery.
