Recently, Google launched 'Password Checkup Extension' for Chrome to detect unsafe account and password.
Google Chrome users after installing 'Password Checkup Extension', while typing your password by warning it automatically inform you to change your password if your password is hacked by someone.
The Google detects a username and password on a site from over the 4 billion credentials that have already been compromised, the Chrome extension would trigger an automatic warning and suggest a password-change, the post mentioned.
The firm said, "We built 'Password Checkup Extension' so that no one, including Google, can learn your account details. To do this, we developed privacy-protecting techniques with the help of cryptography researchers at both Google and Stanford University. This is our first version of the Password Checkup and we will be refining in the coming months".
