On tuesday West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee ends three day long dharna
On Sunday, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee started dharna against CBI action.
Because without any papers, CBI officers team came to kolkata to investigate Kolkata Police chief Rajeev Kumar in connection with Saradha chit fund case. So the CBI team were stopped outside of kolkata police chief's residence by kolkata police. Then CBI team were taken to the police station and then release them. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also reached police chief's Rajeev Kumar residence and started dharna to "save the constitution".
After that CBI filed a case in Supreme court on monday. SC directed to submit a evidence in court against Rajeev Kumar on tuesday.
On tuesday, the Supreme Court on directed Kolkata Police chief's Rajeev Kumar to appear before the CBI before feb 20 in connection with the Saradha chit fund scam case. The SC further directed the CBI not to arrest Rajeev kumar and dont take any coercive action against Rajeev Kumar.
Following SC judgement, on tuesday after discussing with senior leaders West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee ended her three-day long dharna in front of Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu.
Addressing supporters, she said, "This dharna (Save the Constitution) is victory for the Constitution and democracy. so, let us end it today. The Court gave a positive judgement today. Next week, we will continue to take up the issue in Delhi".
Also West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee said, "One man government, one party government is there. They (Central govt) want to control all the agencies including the state agencies also? PM you resign from Delhi and go back to Gujarat".
Chandrababu Naidu said, "NDA government wants to divide India, we want to unite India. We will not stop here, we will continue till they stop this harassment".
