Union Railway Minister launched Rail Drishti portal

On monday, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal launched the Rail Drishti website. The portal can be reached at  www.raildrishti.cris.org.in.

Now passengers can able to see live feed of how their meals are cooked and packed in railway kitchens on online.

Goyal said, "The portal will give the information about the various trains, stations, ticket sold and enable public to watch live feed from IRCTC kitchens across the country".

He said that the website is user-friendly and people can closely observe the condition of various facilities and lodge complainnts on the portal.

According to the report, The portal offers an information under 15 categories including tracking of trains, 360-degree virtual tour of train routes, freight earnings, tickets, expenditure incurred by the railways.
