Train 18 to be flagged off by PM Modi on February 15 and Train 18 ticket price

On monday, the senior railway official said, "The India's fastest train "Train 18 or Vande Bharat Express" travelling between Delhi and Varanasi.The train has two classes of tickets- Executive class and Chair car and will have differently priced meals.

Train 18 air conditioned chair car ticket  would be cost of Rs 1,850 and the executive class fare would be Rs 3,520 for delhi to varanasi trip including the catering service charges. On its return journey, the chair car ticket will cost at Rs 1,795 and the executive car ticket will cost at Rs 3,470".

The officials said, 'While the chair fares are 1.5 times the price of Shatabdi trains running the same diatance, the executive class fares are 1.4 times of first class air conditioned seating in the premium train'.

For morning tea, breakfast and lunch: While travelling from Delhi to Varanasi - The passengers will be charged Rs 399 for executive class and Rs 344 for the chair car and travelling from Varanasi to Delhi will be charged Rs 349 for executive class and Rs 288 for chair car. While travelling from Delhi to Kanpur and Prayagraj will have to pay Rs 155 for executive class and Rs 122 for chair car.
