The breed of Kali Masi was cultured by the tribals of Jhabua

  Krishi vigyan Kendra Principal Scientist of Jhadua's or Agriculture Knowledge Centre , wrote a letter to Indian Cricket team Captain Mr.Virat Kohli and also to the board of control for Cricket.He sugested that the Kadaknath or Kali Masi chicken could be taken  instead of normal white chickens.As the Former Contains less cholesterol and also fat content as 0.73-1.05% where the latter contains 13-25% . As Kohli likes to eat grilled chicken but he had given it up due to the high cholesterol and transfat level, so the Cricket team decided to become vegan. But Krishi vigyan Kendra as a scientist made another choice of preference for Kadaknath chicken of Madyapradesh to the Cricket team. Krishi commented the qualities of Kali Masi in the letter to Kohli .

The male bird of Kali Masi was sold at the price rupees 800 and female bird for rupees 700. The rate maybe changed for the private traders  which ranges from rupees  1200- 1500 .The breed was best in everything but only matter is the price.
