Tamilnadu signed 304 MOUs in Global Investors Meet, 2019
The Vice president M Venkaiah Naidu was a chief guest, Chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswamy, deputy chief minister O Panneerselvam are attend the 2nd day Global investors meet, 2019.
On Thursday, in two days GIM 2019, The tamilnadu chief minister said the state has signed 304 MoUs in the investors meet with an investment of Rs 300431 crores.
Palaniswamy said that the investment proposals have the potential to provide job opportunities for 10.50 lakh persons.
The major MOUs are as follows
Rs10,000 crore were signed by Adani group for expanding the Kattupalli port, Rs 27400 crore by Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd(CPCL) for petroleum refinery in Nagapattinam, Rs 7000 crore by Car maker Hyundai for to start of electric car manufacturing in TN, Rs 3100 crore by MRF, Rs 1500 crore by two wheeler maker Eicher, Rs 1250 crore by PSA, Rs 23800 by NLC, Rs 1250 crore by CSA, Rs 580 crore by sai university, Rs 12000 crore by MSME.
