The Tamilnadu renenue deficit estimated to be Rs 14,315 cr in 2019-20. Tamil Nadu borrowed around Rs 44,000 crore in 2018-19 and will borrow Rs 43,000 crore in 2019-20.

2,000 solar agri pump sets to be distributed in 2019-20, Allocated Rs 29,000 crores for pension to retired employees, Rs 55,399 crores for government employees salaries.
Paddy loan of Rs 1,000 crores for farmers, Allocated Rs 200 crores for crop loan disbursement, Rs 1,656 crores has been allocated for school education, Rs 420 crores for constructing 20,000 greenhouses.
