IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan has returned home from pakistan

Indian Air Force Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman has returned home from Pakistan. He crossed the border at around 9.30pm.
After he entered into our country, His first words were "it is good to be back in my country", an official told reporters.
Earlier, Abhinandan was captured by Pakistani forces. When his MiG 21 Bison crossed the Line Of Control (LoC) and fell into the pakistan. Then, he was taken in the custody by Pakistan army.
On Thursday, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan announced in parliament during a joint session, "As a peace gesture we are releasing Wing Commander Abhinandan tomorrow". As per the announcement, friday at around 9.30pm he was handed over to india.
Air Vice Marshal R G K Kapoor told, "Wing Commander Abhinandan has just been handed over to us as per standing operating procedure of Indian Air Force. We will now take him for a detailed medical check-up. This check-up is mandated particularly because the officer has had to eject from an aeroplane which would have put his entire body under great stress. IAF is happy to have Abhinandan back".
An elaborate flag-lowering ceremony at the Wagah border between Indian and Pakistani soldiers was cancelled.
President Ram Nath Kovind tweeted, "Welcome home Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman! India is proud of your courage and sense of duty and above all your dignity. Wishing you and our entire Air Force every success in the future".
PM Narendra Modi tweeted, "Welcome Home Wing Commander Abhinandan! The nation is proud of your exemplary courage. Our armed forces are an inspiration for 130 crore Indians. Vande Mataram!".
Indian Air Force tweeted, "Welcome back Wg Cdr V Abhinandan. We are proud of you. Jai Hind!!".
