Cognizant is looking to shed jobs after two quarters of slowgrowth, media reports suggest. Sourcestold the layoffs could be higher and broader than those in 2017 and2018. Non-billable mid-level executives such as managers and consultants are likely to be the worst-hit. Mostof these job cuts may happen in India, home to 70% of the IT Company’s nearly2.82-lakh-strong workforce. Last week, Cognizant halved its revenue guidancefor FY20 after first quarter profittanked 32%.

Mid level staff are always vulnerable to job cuts as theybecome weak in technical skills and are not enough smart to propose a businesschange/sop.  More than the skill set, theyoung chaps should concentrate on their mindsets. Nowadays most of them arevery disabled, blaming others, irresponsible, and greedy.  Those who think that they want to get thethings in easy manner by cheating others may fall in trouble in all places andin all periods.
